Private Bacalar Boat Tour

Pickup is around 6:30 am, followed by a 3.5 to 4 hour drive south. You then board your private sailboat on the water. You sail to Cenote Esmeralda, the Pirate Canal, and Bird Island, with a regional lunch included. You head back mid-afternoon and reach your hotel by early evening.

Everything. We reserve the sailboat, the vehicle, and the guide for your group alone. You never share with strangers, and there are no affiliate store stops. Average group size is 2 to 8 people. The pace, stops, and timing follow your preferences, not a fixed commercial schedule.

Yes. The sailboat does not include an open bar. You are welcome to bring a bottle of wine or your own drinks at no extra cost. A cooler with bottled water, sodas, and snacks is already on board. You are free to enjoy your own bottle while you sail.

Bacalar is roughly 3.5 to 4 hours from the Riviera Maya, depending on road conditions. We use a private air-conditioned vehicle with a dedicated driver, so the drive is comfortable and direct. We start early, around 6:30 am, to make the most of your day on the water.

Pack light for a day on the water.

• Swimwear and a towel.

• A change of clothes for the ride back.

Yes. Let us know about any dietary needs or allergies when you book. The regional lunch can be adjusted for vegetarian and other common preferences. Because the tour is private, the menu stays flexible.
