You will enter the water twice. Touching is not allowed. Your guide briefs the group on safety and wildlife conduct before every jump. During peak season other vessels will be present in the area.

Not at all. Whale sharks feed exclusively on plankton and microscopic organisms. They pose zero threat to humans. These are slow, gentle creatures, completely unbothered by swimmers. As long as you follow your guide and respect the animals, it is one of the safest wildlife encounters you will ever have.
Sunscreen is not allowed on this tour. Chemical sunscreens harm marine ecosystems and are prohibited at the whale shark reserve. Pack a long-sleeve rash guard or UV protection shirt instead. Guests with sunscreen detected on their skin before entering the water will not be permitted to jump.
Yes, GoPros and underwater cameras are allowed. The open ocean alongside whale sharks is one of the most cinematic settings you will ever shoot in. Come prepared.
Ocean and weather conditions are beyond our control. If Cancun's harbor authority restricts access to the dock, we will reschedule your tour at no extra charge. If the boat departs and no whale sharks are spotted, refunds and rescheduling are not available. This scenario is rare during peak season. For the best odds, book in July or August.
